These are the most valuable property styles, according to real estate experts from across the country

With years of house-selling experience, it's no surprise that the feedback was revelatory, but there were four house styles deemed most valuable by the real estate experts.

1. Mid-century homes

2. Craftsman style

3. Queen Anne style

4. Neoclassical

WHO ARE THESE REAL ESTATE EXPERTS?
It is obvious that you base your opinions of real estate on what is in California. California is not the center of architectural styles

The most expensive and the most popular are likely not the same.

Here the French faux Chateau aka McMansion is expensive in larger sizes, but the most popular style is likely the bland American Horton. I mean big lakeside houses are highly variable in style but are basically simply very expensive. The most popular are the cheapest new homes. Young couples seem to prefer 1.5 story houses but older folks prefer the one-story home on slab. No basement styles here are popular except perhaps again, lakeside houses with walk out basements. We are seeing more of these single slope modernist houses which has a cost advantage of being cheaper to roof. 1754358339865.png

Fernando's favorite is the Mediterranean/Spanish style. Obviously, those real estate experts not from CA.

Big urban. We only have 2 style row homes, straight thru liv rm, din rm to kit. And the air light where living rm to dining room, kitchen on the side of the din rm. Seen them 2, seen them all. In the 80's they did some front to back split townhomes, where normal 3 story was split into maybe 6-7 levels in all. It didn't become popular. Was confusing the first time i did one. The brain and eyes couldn't get coordinated.

I didn't see "Tesla in the driveway" anywhere in the list. No wonder Fernando's head exploded.

Where was "trouse" on the list?

In Amsterdam and London, I saw homes similar style and similar color. They looked all the same to me. Boring.
Though in Amsterdam, someone said something about having more of something with windows which would indicate that the homeowner has more wealth.
Human nature for need to brag in having the best house in a homogenous neighborhood.
