You bunch of butt-heads

I'll start. How about a class action lawsuit against AMCs and lenders for stealing borrowers money?

Nice Lil scam they got going on....

We will say that the appraisal will cost $700, but then we'll find an appraiser to do it for $300 and pocket the rest. No one will ever know. Dumb borrower....they will never know as they cannot shop around.

Well since we are not the borrowers we have no standing.

You feel better now ? This rant about class action suits has been going on for almost 20 years. Not happening because there is no attorney that would touch it with a ten foot pole as most appraisers are self employed and agree as vendors to accept or reject assignments therefore no damages have been inflicted. Anyway the Ship Sailed so accept or reject your fate. Nobody's getting on board.

My AMC recently went to another ordering system. I'm rather confuse.
The new order system doesn't indicate the full fee AMC is getting.
The older ordering system disclose the full fee (if that is the truthful fee).
Seeing the fee, I give the AMC a 10% profit margin which I think is fair.
The new order system won't give me a reference point anymore.:cautious:

No one forcing someone in accepting the $145 fee.

Stop trying to discourage them. Just step back and let them go for what they know.
