Has anyone read or taken class on the 2026 USPAP?
I asked ChatGPT and it sounds like not much significant change. WTF.

I haven't taken it yet. I have taken the required class and exam to renew my AQB Certified USPAP Instructor. This class, similar to the previous one, will be more about learning how to use the USPAP documents to find your own answers.... instead of asking the Forum everytime you aren't sure about something.

i thought USPAP has no end date now..

Abstract USPAP has benefitted AF. If it was simpler to understand instead of the many pages to go through, USPAP wouldn't have to go through so many changes.
The USPAP now is so different when it first came out. Have to admit, it's a little bit more understandable than before. Youngings don't know how lucky they are.

It's easier to understand if your not always looking for or trying to make loopholes

There's no set interval for revision of USPAP. It is to be revised as needed. The 2 year cycle for the 7 hour USPAP class is unchanged.

so my state rep voted for a change to USPAP...i dont think so...very unconstitutional :rof:

Don't you sheeps ever ask yourself why take it every 2 year let alone 7 hours?
It's complicated and extortion money from appraisers. Pay to play as an appraiser.

technically...you can take USPAP today and it all changes tomorrow :rof:
