More AMC and PDC Bull

The Ship Sailed over 20 years ago and it's not coming back. It's futile to fight a battle that was lost that many years ago. The future battle is how are appraisers going to remain relevant in a high technology world that's changing every three to five years.

Those who embrace the newest and best tools. In my opinion those will last another five or more years but overall the industry is being phased out through age and lack of growing incomes. Appraisers are locked in mostly minimum wage vendors jobs not professions.

Since you keep freebleeding so much about how much power REVAA has, I wonder if you're aware of how small the org itself is.

It looks like their mailing address is a P.O. box at a suburban UPS Store.

You sure about that? Their website and linkedin profile has an address that's about 1 block away from the white house.

Primary

Headquarters

734 Fifteenth Street, NW, Suite 900, Washington, District of Columbia 20005, US

But you could be right. Maybe the largest AMC in the country (and the only ones that have any power) are just members for the fun of it.

I don't know if it's true but I heard a couple years back that their operation amounts to just the one guy.

Their website only shows a pmb in Minnesota for mailing purposes. Their Linkedin page has no posts or activity

REVAA is not a big operation and outside five or six regulars on this forum they get very little attention.

Joan Trice's organization has probably exercised more influence on the corporate side of the business

You can Google them and see what it brings up. so who knows. all I know is every time there’s a meeting of any sort of consequences regarding this profession they have a seat at the table and usually it’s front row.

I’m sure it’s a small office but if you think they have no influence, I’ll have to respectfully disagree. Unfortunately, for the residential appraiser, not much occurs in this profession without their blessing.
