My prediction on 3.6

There are no efforts by any on this forum just a place to vent. That's okay it's when they really believe their in a legitimate effort to make change that's when delusional dreams have taken over.

The real end is when you become one of the crazies who invokes ethics and higher morality into the equation some even quoting bible verses and holding the reigns of their moral high horses.

My fellow appraiser complained about the new UAD and how the software can't handle it.
I said stop worrying. If you have a problem, other appraisers have a problem.
Whatever happens, we all adapt. We always have and many will be whining (I'm still complaining about ANSI).
I expect in beginning, there will be a mess in the whole lending industry not just for appraisers.
Big lenders won't like it hitting their profitability when appraisers demand higher fees.

Borrowers pay the appraisal fee. Unless there is a special loan program where the lender is paying.

Then why do lenders pay appraisers so low if they don't care about the appraisal fee.
When new UAD form becomes tedious, it will slow down turnaround time and loss in numbers of appraisers.
The slow turn in chuning out loans will hit lender pocket books and appraisers will be blamed, like usual.

You go on vacation and when you come back you have forgotten how this industry works, or did you even know to begin with

I'd been in the business longer than you.
I'd see how it has evolved and I tell it as it is when I see changes that are detrimental to us. And new UAD is horrible.
Newbies don't know better and accept things as it is. Good to have old geezard's perspective.
