My prediction on 3.6

I wish the GSE’s would hire somebody to put out on these podcasts that didn’t make my skin crawl the very second they open their mouth :rof:

:rof: I was hoping by modernizing the appraisal system they would go down to a one page report.

Has anyone ever sat in these GSE meetings and brought up the fact that when you ask someone to fill in 40 pages of drop-down menu bull****, you’re gonna get a lot of made up **** and guesses?

I read a Facebook post today from a guy who tried his first one. He said he started by doing the very bare minimum that he thought was necessary to get it through. That’s exactly what’s coming.

The 1 aspect of this that I do agree with is I’ve seen appraisal reports where every line on page one said see addendum. I tried telling appraisers don’t do that but they get set in their ways. I would say 99% of my reports you do not see the words see addendum on page one at all. Or anywhere else. There’s a reason the designers made those cells the number of lines they did, I can abide by that. But some Appraisers do get long-winded and take 10 sentences to say what should be said in 2.

Less is more. It’s never let me down yet.

Sometimes its unavoidable. Sometimes there is a long listing history. Sometimes the owners names are too long for the form's character restriction. I don't put much thought on why designers of these forms do what they do, I don't think the designers do either.

This is exactly what I thought after reading many of the threads regarding getting through this "Modernization". What boxes to check or not to check to circumvent being in drop down hell....a hack just to get to the finish line.

In regards to the video that Non Sequitur posted..... this came out 7 days ago and you can hear the begging for everyone to get on board..... it's going to be so much better. It was so dreadful looking through the addendum for comments. The sh*tstorm this this thing is going to cause is apparent in the desperation speech these guys gave.

The explanation of what's going to happen with the 1004D in relation to the 3.6 even had the guy with the nice house going WTF....

This is under the YouTube video. There's more, but I just stopped what I posted here. This paints a completely different picture than what I've been hearing from here in the threads.
