No crying, Fannie, until you address the 800-pound Gorilla in the room, nothing will change. You and your AMC/Lender friends have destroyed the industry.

A small part of me hopes that the examples they're using on page 3 are "extreme", hypothetical examples to prove their point, while a bigger part of me knows that's not true...

This part is funny:

Lenders must have the appropriate guardrails in place to foster appraiser independence and prohibit influence in the development, reporting, result, or review of an appraisal, not just the ordering of an appraisal. Lender policies and procedures must ensure that people who are directly compensated or motivated by the outcome of the appraisal are not involved in the fulfillment process. As a reminder, we may cite lenders for being out of compliance with AIR in our periodic Mortgage Origination

they forgot to mention those 3rd party "agents" the AMCs, that the lenders are supposed to be responsible for.

:rof: :rof:

A decade of appraiser abuse is starting to make them nervous??

Know what else is really funny about his release by Fannie??

HYBRID appraisals.
DESKTOP appraisals - COVID or not
1004P Forms
Appraisal PILOT programs

Oh yeah,
nothing like interfering in the development and reporting of appraisals,
then reminding everyone else, not to interfere with the development and reporting of appraisals.

Had only 45 known this....
He wouldn't now be stiffing poor Rudy....
(45 would be stiffing another lawyer)....

A pardon will be given in lieu of cash for Rudy's "legal" services....

UC what does 45 have to do with Fannie Mae ? Geez what are you going to whine about in 2021- You wont have the balls to complain about that old senile No-46 --Try to stick to the issues, I know your wife left you and your do bit you, but they do have soup kitchens and a YMCA in your City, an there are a lot of like minded people in the new England States. The hard part is there is nobody to argue or-debate with because they all think and act alike.
