Time to type 3.6

Did my second 3.6 appraisal yesterday and today I typed it up. Since I had no appointments until the afternoon, I decided to type it with no interruptions (no lunch breaks, going on Facebook, doing chores, etc.), just pee breaks. I was not counting my data collection, just typing. I finished the report in 2 hours, 26 minutes. I then spent 25 minutes correcting the 17 errors from the compliance check.

I am hoping that as time goes on I will be more accustomed to the report and reduce the compliance time. I am also hoping that when my software company gets their sh…stuff together and perfects their mobile app., the time to type will also go down.

What is everyone else finding?

You are about a half hour faster than I am at this point, but with a good template it is getting easier.

Im getting very little errors.

When I get one or a glitch...

1. Make sure it is up to date.
2. Go to another section and then go back to it.
3. Save close it and get back to it.
4. Keep open the practice form from gses. This will help a lot.

People complain about alamode, but they have a panel on the right that helps you and the areas that needs attention are in red.

Im zooming thru it. One glitch that I get is when I add a plat map and add the address Ballon or label. It doesn't show up when I add it. If I get out of it and get back in it it shows up.

I also noted some areas will stay red...again, click somewhere else and the go back to it or just close out and get back in it.

My process...
Start the report in the office. Fill out as much as you can including maps, tax data, legal, etc.

In the field, it will be so much easier to navigate. Use the sketch first method for most photos.

Use datamaster to import comps.

I use Bradford's Nighthawk. I am expecting to dramatically reduce typing time when the mobile app., Fieldhawk comes out. I guess they briefly rolled it out and then abruptly took it down due to glitches.

I am using Total mobile App, and that pretty much catches any glaring errors in the field since if a field is not filled out correctly there is an exclamation point. Not bullet proof, but the 4 that I have completed I only had a few errors show up. Didn't take long to get rid of them. The biggest headache is filling out the grid. Uggh. So tedious.

Will see how it works on my next 2 which I have coming up this week.

I pretty much follow the same approach as NC Appraising. Only difference may be I use the photo power view for outside photos in the Mobile App. But the first thing after that is do the sketch, etc.
