My first 3.6 is a condo, any tips would be appreciated, thank you

Irony! I did my first 3.6 appraisal yesterday where I did an inspection (1st was a drive by) and it was a condo. I typed it up today and eventually got a clean approve.

Good news is NOTHING is different in your inspection! Of course you have to measure the height of the ceilings and front door.

90% of my work is condo buildings. I've done 3 with the new forms. Not too bad. Questionnaires would be helpful, but I can never get them in time. Most of my problems come from lenders or AMC's that haven't updated their appraiser requirements yet. Lenders should be updating their appraisal requirements so that we know what is required by each lender over and above new Fannie guidelines so we can charge accordingly.

Congratulations! Progress... (y)

I am setting up a template for a condo and am looking to create a line for the unit floor height of a unit, and I am not finding a place to enter it .
Update: I called tech support. Typical of this 3.6 puzzle, there are two separate areas before the THIRD area can be filled for subject unit interior- the floor height field appears if you first do the first TWO steps, each on a different page, of course.

THEN, one assumes the floor height for the comps can be entered to adjust. FOUR steps instead of the one simple step on 2.6.

Good thing ALAMODe now functions to create a template so one does not have to follow this torture trail on every new report. It is the same maddening process for any other line one wants to add for the sale comparison side by side.
