2055 D/b No Comp Photos

I always figured the 2055 with no comp photos needed request was code for "we don't care if you drive them or not but we will reduce the fee anyway, wink wink."

Hello again,

Well, I got my answer to my full fee for 2055 drive by's (which is slighly less than for 1004's) from transunion...cancelled!!! B)

If I'm not mistaken, Fannie Mae does not require comparable photos on reports submitted on the 2055 form which are based on an exterior only inspection. But, as Chris already mentioned, if it says you inspected the comparable exteriors from the street, then that's what you have to do.

I'll charge less for the exterior only. I don't have to schedule an appointment, walk through the house and dance with the owner, or draw a sketch. So I save a little time; about 10%. But, if we are talking about AMC clients, and they are suggesting a 55% discount from my fee for the same service, they might be a little low, eh?
