I tried making a test 3.6 just bc and found some things I had to do manually early on. So I asked gpt why aren't these easier it said they're still being rolled out. Really??? Odd, so when is everything going to work normal like 2.6...

I checked a la mode’s current official documentation. The blunt answer is: UAD 3.6 is capable of producing reports now, but TOTAL’s full speed-and-autofill system is not fully implemented yet. Several databases you routinely use are still disconnected or only partially integrated.
TOTAL feature/databaseCurrent UAD 3.6 statusExpected availability
Contacts/lender databaseNot integrated—USAA must be entered manuallyOctober 2026 on a la mode’s timeline
Desktop QuickListsAvailable nowCompleted
Your old QuickListsDo not automatically carry over because only about 6% of UAD 3.6 fields match legacy fieldsMust rebuild UAD 3.6 QuickLists
Recent Responses dropdownsNot availableNo announced implementation date
Hotkeys such as Alt+1/Alt+2Available through new UAD 3.6 QuickListsAvailable now
Templates/default report dataAvailableUse a UAD 3.6 template or SmartStart/Merge
SmartStart/mergingAvailable nowCompleted April–June 2026
Subject public-record autofillAvailable through QuickSourceCompleted
MLS importAvailable through QuickSource; Bright MLS is supportedAvailable, but full UAD integration is still in Phase 3
TOTAL Comparables DatabaseFull UAD 3.6 reconciliation through QuickSource is still being implementedExpected July–September 2026
SmartExchange peer dataFull UAD 3.6 QuickSource integration still being implementedExpected July–September 2026
SmartAdjust saved adjustment setsNot fully available yet in UAD 3.6Expected July–September 2026
SmartAddressNot listed as fully completed for UAD 3.6Later rollout; no firm completion date stated
Sketch area calculations transferring into reportStill being completedExpected July–September 2026
Worksheets/Excel-like calculationsNot availableLate 2026 or later
Flood-map integrationNot fully integratedLate 2026 or later
Third-party tools—Spark, DataMaster, TrueTracts, SwiftEstimatorAPI is ready, but each vendor must implement its own UAD 3.6 connectionNo universal guaranteed date
AI photo-to-property autofillNot availableLate 2026 or later
The most aggravating limitation is this: Recent Responses—the feature that remembers your last ten entries—is not even on their immediate development schedule. A la mode expects you to replace it with UAD 3.6 QuickLists. Your existing canned entries do not automatically translate, so you’ll need to create a new UAD 3.6 QuickList set as we encounter recurring fields.
For maximum efficiency on this first report, we should do three things:
  1. Complete it carefully once.
  2. Save a clean master UAD 3.6 template containing your appraiser, company, standard scope, certification choices, and recurring assignment settings.
  3. Build your new UAD 3.6 QuickLists while completing it—every time we encounter language you use repeatedly, save it and assign a hotkey.
That will recover much of your speed, but the lender-contact problem will remain until approximately October 2026, and TOTAL will not resemble a completely mature legacy workflow until late 2026 or beyond.
