What a great time to state your opinion about AB 472, this assembly bill as written will give real estate brokers the right to appraise property without an appraiser license. Its time to take our profession back. Go to the government day and talk with your Senator before it's too late.

AB 472 public hearing scheduled same day as WRA Appraisal Conference

AB 472 including amendment 2 (massive exemption from the law for real estate licensees) has been scheduled for a public hearing on March 10, which is coincidentally the day of the WRA Appraisal Conference. It was taken up by the Labor, Elections & Urban Affairs committee. If you are in Senate Districts 1, 6, 20, 21 or 22 please write to your Senator protesting the scheduling of the mandatory appraiser licensing bill on a day when appraisers are not available.
