ACI Site Calculator w/"Acre" as the Metric

Does the ACI SCA site calculator work when the subject site size is described in acres rather than sqft? If so, should the Adjustment Threshold" be expressed in sqft, or as a fraction, e.g., ".25" of an acre?
I will enter a percentage if the subject and comp sites are under an acre (i.e. .10, .20). If it's over an acre, I'll put in a price per acre ($4000, $8000 whatever it is).

I recently entered a fraction when the metric is acre, e.g., .25, and the calculator knows not to calculate for differences of less than 1/4 acre. Cool.

HOWEVER...HOWEVER...I'm now wondering the rationale for the "Adjustment Threshold" that affects the Lot and GL adjustments. For example, who decided that differences "of less than xxxxx sqft" shouldn't be adjusted, because I am unawre of a "market" that is intelligent enough to honor appraisal software principles.

"follow-up to the original appraisal that adjusted the comparables' 10 acre lots relative to the subject's 1 acre lot at like $18,000, or about $2,000 an acre in a primo view amenity upscale neighborhood, surprisingly to hit the contract price exactly."
