According to my math we only lost 32 appraisers on the last renewal.
Active appraisers pre-12/31/13 was CG-1,148; Cert-1,262; Lic.-512 Total: 2,922
According to same ASC data those numbers are now 1,136; 1,251; 503; 2,890 respectively.
The $80 renewal fee did the trick but the question is really how many of those who are not active anymore would pay the $80 but balked at the continuing education expense.
Prediction: this years continuing ed. audit gets a really high percentage of appraisers who did not complete continuing ed.
