I’ve decided to try and challenge Advanced Concepts and Case Studies and test out of it. I was planning to take the synchronous online course but after talking to some people who had done so I don’t think it would be much different from a regular online course and I’m not sure I would get much out of it compared to the traditional classroom. This is my final class before the Comp exam and Demonstration Report (or Capstone class) which I need to take this year and in the spring.

I received all the materials from the Appraisal Institute including the answer keys and the completed Excel templates for all of the case study problems. However, they said that they don’t have the blank templates that you would normally download before the class starts and fill out throughout the course. I’m not sure why they don’t have access to those but I was hoping someone who has taken the class could send me the blank templates so I could go through the case study and work it out on my own as there’s not a whole lot to be gained just looking at the answer key for that.

Please send me a PM and I can provide my email address.

They've re-written the course since the last time I took it.

You may consider emailing one of the instructors and asking him/her for a copy.

Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I emailed Gary DeWeese (who is teaching the class starting tomorrow) and he sent them right over.

Excellent-

I know Gary (work with him at our Chapter and have taken most of my Cap classes through him). An excellent instructor and an overall first-class guy.
