I see all these older folks living in manufactured homes who need a better way to

bathe. They need one of the those walk-in tubs with a waterproof door.

So why not sell an air-conditioned outhouse with a handicap-tub shower with hot

water heater - all one module which easily set-ups outside the manufactured home

for higher quality of life - or stick it under an existing porch for covered access.

Feeling what -ify today

You mean you don't already have that sort of thing in Florida? I guess it must just be a TN thing.

Seriously Doug?,

Seems like a good idea.... how much do they sell for?

I think they would be a hit down here for older folks - we have a lot of portable

shed sales lots - but I have not seen anything like this.

How pricey are they? Maybe I will do a search on the web - maybe I could sell

these things

Sounds like a good idea Dave. :P

Actually, I was thinking about building something like that on to the side of my porch for a pool bath. Single tiled room with toilet, sink and shower head out of the wall, shower drain in the middle of the floor, no shower doors.

Folks,

If you build it, they will come.

I would, if it was about 14x14 with a hot tub and stereo sound system. If you built it with steel re-bar tied to the 12" thick concrete floor and 24" thick walls, 12" concrete poured re-bar ceiling...you'd have a hurricane shelter. Don't forget the 24K generator for air and hot tub pumps.

Value: Air Conditioned out house=$25,000
Value: Trouse=$15,000

Anybody got any comps?

I should have added something like ;) :P :D  or :rainfro:

Your description reminded me of some of the old shacks I occasionally see in the poorer areas here that really do not have indoor plumbing. Near the cistern (usually disguised as a porch) you may find a makeshift shower with a garden hose and a shower curtain on PVC pipe. {I was trying to poke fun at TN and ended up having to explain by showing that we have shacks here too.}
