Hi everybody!

Got a request from an AMC I have not worked with before. It is a request for a 1004D (Cert of Completion) on a report I completed previously. They stated the Lender has switched AMCs since the prior report was completed.

I looked them up and their current IL AMC license is in NOT RENEWED status from 2018. I sent them a request for updated info.

So few quick questions....

-If their license is NOT active, can they be placing orders in Illinois? Can I work with them?
-Do I need to get disclosure permission from the prior AMC client if I am incorporating the previous report via reference?

Thanks in advance for the advice!!!!

Perhaps you should notify the lender/client
that their 3rd party
for whom the lender/client is responsible,
per IAEG,
is no longer licensed to do business in the state.

Could be you could get a "direct lender/client" client for the next order, other than from an AMC.
