Sorry to say that we lost another member of the "appraiser and forum family". Anon passed away at the tragic young age of 28, I just learned about what had happened this week from my friend Marion. I never met him but I spoke with him on several occasions. It always seemed that he had a chip on his shoulder, "stomping around the forum here and there"'. Since we never actually met, I always just assumed that he was one of those "big guys" with a "bark" that was worse than his "bite".

He certainly shared his opinions here, there's no doubt about that; agree or disagree, it's "one of those things" that keeps this forum interesting. I just thought it would be nice to recognize him here and say a prayer for one of ours as well as his family.

I'll miss him.

I'm sorry to hear that, I remember his posts well, he had strong opinions, no matter what the subject he held nothing back, kind of refreshing. As I recall he was from the Plymouth area, I've got a lot of in-laws around there, 28 is much too soon to leave this world.

Thanks for the information. A loss of any appraiser is a blow, especially with one so in the prime of life.

Especially sad at that young age.
He didn't back down much on this forum; I have to tip my hat to him on that!

28, career had just begun, eager to put his voice out here....very sad.... I'll miss his avatar and opinion in future threads.

His name was anon.

Wow. I argued with him quite a few times. That is terrible...now I wish I had let him win an argument...

My thoughts and prayers are for his family. I am sure they will miss him like nobody else. I hate it for them. I hope he knew the Redeemer. I enjoyed his post here the best I remember. Maybe we are both renegades in some ways.

Much too young, R.I.P..

Shocking news....may he rest in peace and my his family find the inner strength needed to handle the loss.
