Anyone care to comment on the level of scrutiny on and after a trainee log submission in NJ?

My first trainee ever and I'm wondering what the NJ board will ask for after the log is submitted.
Anyone care to share their experience.
I was grandfathered in when licensing became mandatory, so I have no experience with this.

you have to defend it. I suspect they will select some reports and look them over. That's what to worry about.

I was a trainee in NJ from 2003-2005. When I supplied the log they requested either 3 or 4 reports that they selected. If I remember correctly it was 1 or 2 1004s, definitely 1 1025 and 1 1073. About a month later I was approved for my license. BTW, they requested the info from me, the trainee, and I had to obtain the reports from my mentor.

So did they request the whole work file or just the report?

Just the report, but there was a statement in the request that further info (workfile?) may be requested.

PA requested 10 reports from me. Just printed them out, no work file. DO NOT STAPLE, attach one of those nice black metal clips to the report.

many thanks. !!
Cheers!
