I have received a few calls after inquiring about "Lender's Choice". The premise sounds promising, as does most marketing sites out there. They introduce you to new clients, and take no cut, but there is a $349.00 annual fee. After they introduce you they are out of it. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with this company, or any like it? I am looking for a few new clients, I took a hit recently when My grandmother was in the hospital and passed away a few clients were not understanding and left, a few others I dropped because they tried to pressure me into hitting the value.

Lender's Choice Threads

Mark,

I don't have any personal experience with them; as a rule I don't sign up for their type of "pay" service. Try searching for free sites and sign up with them. There are a number of them out there.

Happy New Year!

A few of these types of services market most heavily to appraisers themselves, not mortgage originators. Seems like the acid-test is the question, "Will you take your annual fee from the first order you send?" If not, why not?

My experience with them has been that you will never receive one order from them. Its a big waste of $$$.

Ask them this question" How many orders can you guarantee me?"

They will flop like a fish...this is the standard answer "Well we can't guarantee anything, but we do have 3,000 nationwide lenders"

If they do have 3,000 nationwide lenders they are doing a great job of getting no work from them.

I get the call every 3 months or so.

I told them that they were getting some bad press on this site.

The guy said that those people that were unhappy are in the areas that we don't get many appraisals.

Maybe they just pull up the state appraisal sites and get desperate appraisers to pony up $349 and give them no orders...... What a scam !!!!!

Keep your money. A friend of mine joined up with them a few years back. No orders were ever sent to him.
