In the past I have had a great deal of help from this forum and I'm back to request some more. I finally got my Assistant License but I continue to take courses towards my Real Estate Appraisal degree offered at a local College. My assignment is to find 3 useful websites for appraisers.

I CAN NOT USE

MLS Website
County Auditor's site
American Fact Finder
Appraisal Foundation's site
Common sites like that we can't use. I'm looking for 3 unique websites that are still helpful to the average appraiser or even specializing appraisers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google earth or any other similar type of site.

There's always AppraisersForum.com

The Appraisal Subcomittee's National Registry:

Ohio's State Appraisal Board
http://www.com.state.oh.us/odoc/real/appmain.htm

The website for your local newspaper's classified ads section (It's a good source for doing residential rental surveys)

The 10/2003 letter from the FDIC telling lenders not to accept "readdressed appraisals" or to allow the borrower's to pick appraisers:

The Allregs.com website for Fannie's Appraisal policies:

Mary I didn’t even consider the possibly uses with homeowners....I’ll file that away for future use. Since you were privileged enough to have been in the nepot appraisal system, you probably never witnessed uppity fee shop trainees between months 12-24 when they think they know it all....one quick jolt snaps them back to reality. :)

Thanks for everyone's help. Some of these websites are really helpful. Actually, I'll probably use most of them. It shouldn't hurt to turn in more then three right? Just some extra writing on the description but it might be worth it. Thanks again.
