Hey All,

I was at broker orientation with MIBOR last week and the CEO of my MIBOR let me know that the seat on the Board of Directors at MIBOR for appraisers will be open in just a few months. I doubt that I am qualified enough to fill the seat, but I have confidence that many of you are. I know there have been a few posts here about the lack of our voice at MIBOR (or on the BLC), so I thought I might spread the word to those of you who could (or may want to) make a difference. Let me know what you think. We'll get the word (and the vote) out so that maybe we can begin to make some positive changes to the BLC.

Good to know. Thanks.

MIBOR definitely doesn't take our opinion into account with anything they do.

So true. Even if you send proof that a 'closed' sale did not close, they won't remove it from the system. Same for a 'sale' listed in the 200k range that 'sold' for 1.3 million but didn't.

I'm not the one for the position, but I'd like to endorse someone from here that would be willing to do it.

Lets all nominate Indiana Jones and the Appraisal Twins!! All in favor? Aye!!

Ha! I look about 14 years old....I have a hard enough time convincing homeowners I'm a professional with several years of experience, let alone a board of seasoned professionals! I appreciate the confidence though!

I'd do it. I already have no problem telling them what's what, the problem is they just don't listen!
