These cycles of downtime are a good opportunity to take additional courses to improve your skills and learn new ones. The AI is offering free courses for "beta testers", these courses aren't approved for State CE but if you're an AI member it does count towards your AI CE and/or you can certainly add them to your qualifications/resume.

Hi George,

I was unaware of this...thanks for the information!

Can you take them if you haven't joined the AI yet? I just got my member benefits CD in the mail and I am seriously considering joining. I'd take the classes just for the extra knowledge.

I just signed up the eminent domain and condemnation course ... thinking about the convenience store course too ...

Sounds good

Thanks, George. I did not know about the beta offer at all. I sent the request for two of them. The contact is out til 3 days before the next start date, so I will wait to see. I have taken a number of the others when they first came out by National in several different locations.

I type so slow...I just saw Doug signed up for one I picked. Will you carry my virtual books for me, Doug?

thanks George! That is great!

i signed up for the eminent domain and condemnation

Hope they're not full yet! Doug has to carry my virtual books too!

Renee ... of course .... ;)

Rhonda .... only if Renee says its OK ...

Ok, Doug .... you know how dangerous school is these days ..... :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

I talked to Dan .... he is going to carry my virtual books. A true Southern Gentleman he is! :rof:

:glare:

I think Doug's butt wax did not work out well. ;-)

Virginia does not pre-approve CE courses

George,

Since Virginia does not pre-approve any CE courses, any course credited as being at least 2 hours in length, and on an appraisal related subject would be accepted by Virginia for CE.

Don,

I didn't think of that, so everyone should check with their states to find out.
