Hello, I am a licensed appraiser trainee and very close to obtaining my license to appraise. Up until Covid, I managed an office of appraisers and trainees in the Philadelphia Region for over ten years. Our senior appraiser decided to retire over the summer, leaving me without a job to come back to during the last vestiges of acquiring my license. I am seeking employment, either as a remote contributor, or as a local inspector / photographer / assistant in the South Jersey area.
I’ve had experience in all aspects of the appraisal process. I am proficient in communicating with appraisal vendors, negotiating fees, operating a schedule, answering phones and email, inspecting properties, drawing sketches, taking comp photos, selecting comparable sales, writing reports, setting up templates, as well as managing finances and payroll. I've designed processes for office workflow, and created spreadsheets to monitor report progress, fee splits, and accounts receivable. I know the Total program very well, as well as Datamaster, and I'm also willing to learn a new system if need be. Resume and references provided upon request.
