Appraisal Storage

The Alamode vault is easy to use and retrieve for their files. But be careful on the limits once it is full as it wont back up the recent files. I use carbonite for all but a real pain to get files back.

Have a good look at my avatar. Not only have I accepted my mental limitations, I have embraced them. It's why I now work in county government since they were the only ones stupid enough to hire me. Now what was your question again?

I just checked on Amazon. You can get a 10 pack of 32 GB flash drives for $33.49. This is cheaper than paying yearly for cloud storage for your archival files. Appraisal files are not that big. You don't need a terabyte to store them.

or you can get a 2TB external drive from walmart for $69 and back up the entire computer, and 4+ more entire computers for the family, forever.

Personally, I have a NAS with 16 TB in it. The flash drives are good because they are easy to use and store off-site. Seagate makes 14 TB drives in their Ironwolf line. The are still a little pricey for me.
