Just wondering if my Charlotte area peers are as slow as I am? I have so much time on my hands I don't know what to do with myself!

Everybody I have talked to ()and I talk or email with a bunch of appraisers ) is slow.

I have been sanding and painting doors in my house. Had several sticking from age, settlement, too many coats of paint and swelling. Just finished my third exterior door.

Feel free to come heal anytime and I have other projects as well.

Bob, don't forget to paint the bottom and top surfaces. All door manufacturers require that all 6 sides of the door be painted to honor their warranty, and most doors that rub were never painted on the top or bottom surface. For fun and giggles, run your finger along the top edge of the doors of the next few houses you appraise. While you are at it, run your finger along the top of the door and window trim...:icon_idea:

Yep...been doing that. I worked my way through college as a painting contractor. Trying to get my house in order so we can downsize. Just don't need this big house anymore.

Funny (and sad)....I just realized that none of my trim was painted on the top or bottom when I was cutting in one of my rooms.....not-a-one:nono:

Slow for months here in SE NC.
