My license number per the ASC is RZ398. UAD instructions REQUIRE that my license number on the report match what is on the ASC site. HOWEVER, my state REQUIRES that I report my license as "Cert Gen RZ398". Client will not accept w/o my license number matching what is on the ASC site. What do I do? Report was due and delivered yesterday, but they refuse to accept it until I "correct it".

Gee - i would call my state for guidance.

You can send them this quote from Appendix D:

"The appraiser and supervisory appraiser (if applicable) must enter their license or certification number(s) as they appear on the Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) website, http://www.ASC.gov, unless otherwise mandated by state law or regulation."

followed with a quote from your State regulations related to the requirement you referenced.
