Bad Disto: anyone familiar with Appraiserdepot

First, let me say this is not a flame. I purchased a used Disto 5 Classic that arrived 7/15/08. Out of box, it gives error code 272, which is not referenced in documentation that is found online. I have sent multiple e-mails and left 7-8 voice mail messages but so far have no response. The Company is AppraiserDepot.Com. I made the purchase over E-Bay and inquired in advance on condition of product. Is this a reputable company? I have seen their name around for years but this is my first experience dealing with them. I really don't think it is unrealistic to expect some type of response. Before taking other steps, I would love some feedback from others. Ron Patton ronpattonappraisals@comcast.net Chattanooga, TN
 
By mid-afternoon of the day of the complaint, the issue was resolved satisfactorily. I would do business again with Appraiser Depot. Ron Patton
 
I'm glad you were satisfied. I bought my Disto Classic several years ago, have dropped it a few times, and still works. The only thing was having to replace a battery - no biggie. I did talk to them when I first purchased and also found them to be very good at customer service. A colleague of mine also has a Disto mainly from my recommendation.
