When I was in the field, Solidifi was easy to work with, as was Frisco Lender Services. As a general rule of thumb, the smaller, regional AMC's tend to be more appraiser friendly than the larger, national ones, although the larger, national AMC's probably will have more work to offer.
i remember 15 years ago when I was starting out, get to know all the lenders in your area, talk to all the top producing realtors and loan officers, find out who they work with and reach out to those lenders and they will direct you to the AMCs that they work with. You have to chase a lot of tails right now in your career journey. Talk about real estate and appraisals with anybody who will listen and you'll be surprised where the work comes from.Newly licensed appraiser here. What are the best AMCs that will take a Lic.
