Gross of PIMCO suggests he is looking forward to Bernankes QE2 (Quantitative Easing 2) as much as a Turkey looks forward to Thanksgiving.

He compared the proposal to provide easing to that of a large Ponzi scheme where there is no future "gullibles" to buy into the charade.

The article also notes that the TIPS (Treasury Bonds indexed for inflation) now carry a NEGATIVE interest rate....for the first time in history. How insane is that?

QE and the DOW

.... On Drudge .... there is a link to a story ..... that the highest inside trading is now going on in the equity markets ......

..... in my church there is a lot of inside trading ......

.... about 95% of all the decent paying jobs are government related ...... private contractors with big government teet payouts ..... they run our church ......

.... a lot of these guys have big necks ....... thugish

TIPS buyers are betting on a return to inflation.

So are Ammo and Bean buyers...

So are gold and silver buyers
I guess it depends on what index you are using.

If the dollar is buying less in the Global market, then the dollar is being devalued. And if the dollar is devalued, then how does that differ from inflation? You buy less. Either the dollar is "Fixed" or the value of an item is "fixed"..

We are in a period of rampant inflation of the money supply. The fact much of the world outside China is floating along beside us doesn't mean we are not still going over the waterfall.
