Calculator for exam

Getting ready to take the Cert. Gen. exam...anyone know what kind of calculator will they let me take in? HP12C? Thanks!

In Virginia, you can take your HP12C, but you have to bring the manual with it to the test center. You should have some kind of instructions provided to you by the test administrator (in Virginia it is PSI Exams) regarding permitted calculators.

Don't you think it would be a little odd if they didn't allow the most common calculator used in the appraisal industry? Hmmm?

I know when licensing first started that I used my HP12C. I would just call the State and ask them. They are usually very helpful in answering questions. Good luck!.
