Certified General Appraiser here looking for an appraisal firm in the greater Richmond area. I posted in the 'jobs wanted' section as well, but this area seems more active for my target audience.

I'm a commercial land broker as well as appraiser. Cut my teeth on light industrial and mid-rise office spaces appraisals. Completed the "Valuation of Conservation Easements" certification program. Member of Urban Land Institute, Realtors Land Institute, CCIM, AI.

I'm open to suggestions . . .

You have probably already thought of this but if you have access to the AI directory, check out the appraisers in the Richmond area.

You might want to contact Michael G. Miller, MAI, SRA, CCIM (Mike). I took some classes with him a couple of years ago and very informally and briefly spoke with him about working for him. I had other plans at the time and did not pursue the discussion. Seemed to be a good guy.

Hey, Thanks guys for the help. Yep, I checked the AI register and started making some calls. Seems like Mike Miller has quite a team working for him and good education as well. Thanks again for the tips!
Mike
