Christie's Bitcoin Real Estate Division, No Bank Needed

So after the dust of regulation settles and the US establishes a digital dollar and force banks to be more efficient with the transfer of 'money'.....and the estimated saving to the consumer will be $1 billion per year (according to AI),...then what? When I buy groceries ($100/week) and pay my mortgage ($2000), what will the savings be? I go inside a bank now once a year, so they will not be needed. But what else?

What you described is a CBDC or central bank digital currency which is no better or worse than the current US dollar other than saving paper. Bitcoin is decentralized which is why governments fear and loathe it and libertarians love it.

Libertarians and criminals love it. Its the only way computer kidnappers can hold companies for ransom and not be traced.

Bitcoin cheerleaders love it but when someone discovers a way to crack the codes, what happens then? It becomes worth $0?

And they will crack it. Maybe not real soon but it will happen. Someone will turn AI loose on a quantum computer and after that, its lights for the witchcraft funny money. You'll know when someone is close to breaking the code when the price starts falling.

Last year when AI became the buzzword I was talking to a neighbor who had sold his Silicon Valley company years ago to Samsung. He had spent 20-years on 'getting computers to learn to read.' His big fear was the first quantum would unlock all the passwords. He said, "The country that gets there first will be in control." He was on his 4th wife, said his children were a pain in the ***, but loved his grandchildren. I think the lesson was 'don't buy your children a house.'

While it might be efficient and great to move money at the speed of light anywhere, I'd prefer a bank to be part of the process, such as 'limit withdrawals to $X per day.' Christ was right to resent money changers.

That's the same argument Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders make. Bitcoin is not anonymous, it's traceable, Monero is anonymous.

When quantum computer technology arrives, that same technology will be utilized to make the blockchain even more secure.

In the future, I would expect, with AI and Blockchain, I should be able to walk into a car dealership (or delivered) or a open house, say, "I want to buy it" and the transaction, paperwork, loan, title, from stem to stern will be taken care of, all documents taken care of, pre-qualification, and monthly payments taken out of checking.

I’m not sure about autos, but there are several companies doing it in real estate. Grok has info on them. I tossed some money into Propy. I’m still down, but I am patient. https://propy.com/browse/propytitle/
