Comenity Bank Scam

Anyone being pestered by these jokers?

I understand that Comenity produces and services credit cards for Macy's, Department store, etc. and are legitimately a Credit card company. I have never dealt with them but someone is trying to scam me into dialing their number - which is not the real bank's number.

The real problem is they don't call me and I cannot block them. They go directly to voice mail without me being able to determine the source of the call. And this has been going on once per day, seven days a week, and it probably started about 2 months ago.

Anyone have a solution? I tried to talk to T Mobile but there were so many people in the store, I didn't want to wait for an hour or more.

If you're with T-Mobile you should have Scam Shield.

Do a Google search and it'll tell you how to download and activate it. You can also dial 611 to get tech support to help.

Truthfully though, even with Scam Shield or other spam blockers from the Play Store (if you're on Android) some of those calls still get through. Annoying as all get go.

You can call the phone company to block it, in the old days that worked.
There are phone apps that show you the phone number of whoever calls. if you have android try CallApp. It even shows you a photo if they have one. Has spam & block. But some things get thru sometimes. There are other id phone apps, go to the google store.
