Converting Alamode Files To ACI

I am trying to convert my Alamode files to ACI and everything seems ok until I open the new file in ACI - no data, pics or anything listed. Any thoughts?

I would try calling ACI Tech Support. It should transfer everything.

JFYI,
I contacted tech support and they explained that I need the Mercury plug in or else the data cannot be transferred.

Hi Alicia,

I'm curious as to how you made out with converting files to ACI. What exactly is the Mercury plug in and what does it cost?

I'm trying to decide which program to buy/keep and being able to fully convert Alamode to ACI would be key in the decision. I know the reverse conversion works well.

I have ACI 8.5 installed at home & version 8.1.2 at the office. Any conversion utility available from ACI or within the program (I checked the website). Can I just use version 8.5 and change a setting in Environments or Reports menu to save as the older version? I installed 8.5 at home and created report. I then uploaded at the office unable to view the report at the office. Prompting the unrecognized file or something like it. I'd like to try the new version at home before upgrading the office.

You need to patch 8.1.2 to be able to open files created with 8.5 and 8.5.2. The patch can be found here.
