I am a Certified Residential appraiser with eight years of experience, licensed in Virginia. I recently moved to the Richmond metro area and am interested in pursuing commercial/industrial valuation. I am FHA rostered and in good standing with all state and federal regulatory bodies. I have experience in lender work, non-lender work, vacant land valuation, divorce work, complex residential, foreclosure, new construction, and manufactured homes. My experience to this point is in suburban and rural markets. I am happy to provide my credentials upon request and hope you will reach out. You might want to look up the online jobs available at the Appraisal Insitute website - where appraisers advertise if they are hiring or taking on trainees ( I have not tried to use the site in a long time and idk if it still functions like that )

Hi there. I appreciate the reply. I am in the process of posting my resume on the AI website today, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to post here as well (casting a wide net). As far as relocation goes, I just relocated to Richmond recently, which, as far as VA goes, is one of the most opportune places to be for appraisal work.

My apologies. Thank you, ma'am! I appreciate your vote of confidence. Given the opportunity, I feel that I can continue to excel in this field. Fortunately, I am currently gaining experience as a commercial assessor, so I'm making headway, just not as quickly as I would like. I'd like to believe it's mainly a matter of time and opportunity before I can actively work toward CGRA and an MAI designation, outside of AI coursework that is.
