CST Berger 58-LT160 Laser Measuring Tool

OK, I was just about to pull the trigger on a Bosch DLR165K and came across the CST (this divison of CST is actually now owned by Bosch.) It looks like it has a few more features (I like the 3 point pythagoras function).

Anyone using it? $129 on Amazon versus $99 for the DLR165K.

You may like the sound of that function, but you'll almost never use it.

I don't have any experience with this unit, but I did notice that one the Amazon.com customer reviews pointed out that the unit is not designed to be used in outside in bright light.

Personally you would be better off investing in a Leica. You get what you pay for.
