• Secondary homes can't be used for short term rentals
• Bans renting out any homes other than primary residence for less than 30 days at a time
• Maximum 90 days per year that host may rent out primary residence

Personally, I don't think properties in single family zoning should be allowed to operate as a hotel.

AirBnB, like Uber, has a ton of money to buy off local officials. They instantly invaded neighborhoods with an illegal use, motel house in a residential neighborhood. Neighborhood after neighborhood have had to refine their ordinances and zoning laws to restrict or eliminate commercial use in a residential zone. But its hard to stand up to internet corporations with billions of dollars.

Expand illegal operations as fast as possible and lobby to make legal is definitely the strategy that these companies use.
