Yes in LA County we're seeing the impact of self deportation and Ice deportation in less garages being used as rentals and less cars parked on lawns at night. Some homes had 8 to 10 living in them and most paid weekly. The impact is one big positive for the community.

I ran into those 20 years ago quite a bit in the towns with chicken plants. "Hot bedding" as we called it. Usually single men who sent a big portion of their wages back home to Mexico to support families there. Might be 3 bedrooms and 6 to 9 men taking turns in bed.
