If anyone is considering buying a Disto, www.internationaltool.com has the Classic for $419.95. I wish I had known this before I just spent $495 for mine last month!

We will be matching the InternationalTool.com's price on the DISTO Classic. For those of you who aren't familiar with the DISTO products, real estate appraisers prefer the Classic. It probably outsells all of the other DISTOs 20 to 1.

You can take advantage of this special price by going to our other website, LaserMeters.com , and typing in "appraisersforum" in the coupon code box during checkout. After you type in "appraisersforum" in the coupon box, be sure to click on the box next to it to redeem the coupon.

With this coupon, you will still receive all of the technical support you need from us at no charge. Everyone in our office has used the DISTO products in the field and can answer your questions. I don't think that any of the other dealers can say that :-)

We will not be sending out refunds (price differences) to customers who purchased their DISTO before this "special sale" started.

You Rock!
Ill be buying my second for a back up very soon!

Pam, you used that Pytha.....thingy feature yet??

Neat tool, and I appreciate you showing me how it works, but gotta save up some more pennies.

Yes! I'm still fine tuning using that function though. Seems to only sometimes work properly. Could be user error, though.

Pam,

Call me tomorrow. I'll turn you into a "Pythagoras Pro" in about 3 minutes. Here is our toll free number....866-439-4612

OK

Thanks Matt! I think I'm ready for a little more help now that I don't feel like a complete dummy.

:D

Matt, do you use a tripod when using the pythagoras method? While playing around with it last night I grabbed my monopod I use for my video camera so to steady myself while aiming. Do you have any other suggestions or tips?

I bought the Disto "lite" but I can still do the pytho function because I know the formula (thanks to someone on this Forum). I just stand facing the wall and hold the Disto tightly against me, take the first measurement, then carefully rotate the Disto to hit the end of the wall and take the second measurement. I've only had to use it a couple of times, but it works like a charm!

I love my Disto!
