I started using Metroscan back in my title insurance days and kept with it after I became an appraiser...it just makes sorting through properties so much easier. Does anyone else use it, or have you used it and then given it up? If so, how did you adjust?
It is a bit costly, I have to admit. My last bill said I only used it for 4.5 hours last month...the fee is a flat rate of about $140 per county per month and I have two counties (King and Sno) so that comes to over $60 per hour of use for me. It wasn't bad when I was splitting the cost with a coworker, but now that we've gone our separate ways I'm weighing the cost versus benefit.
