Does DBPR require a certified appraiser to file a DBA/fictitious name?

Hi, I am looking at rebranding and am considering using a DBA. I am searching for where I can find the regulations. Sunbiz states that DBPR exempts some from filing a fictitious name depending on the licensing board. Does anyone here have any experience operating as an appraiser under a fictitious name in Florida?

I work for a certified appraiser. What's the problem?

DBPR requires appraisers and other real estate professionals to register their companies. As far as fictitious names, it looks like you would need to pay a $50 fee and register the DBA name.
