This is what MAGA appraisers wanted. Cut in HUD workers mean less loan production, less work for appraisers. Thank you Trump.

FHA and HUD are closely related. HUD oversees the FHA.
Also, HUD oversees programs like public housing, fair housing enforcement, and homelessness assistance.
Sounds like less help for the poor. Thanks to Trump.
Looks like you won't be getting that section 8 housing allowance anymore. You will have to sell one of your Bentlies to pay your rent.

Yea I saw the same article. Seems to be a lot of confusion in repoting these days

Antonio Gaines, president of AFGE National Council 222, said Tuesday those cuts will also hit the FHA. AFGE National Council 222 is the union that represents more than 5,000 employees at HUD. The agency employs 9,600 people, according to its website. It’s unclear how many are detailed to FHA work.

Kasey Lovett, spokeswoman for HUD Secretary Scott Turner, said Bloomberg Law’s reporting on staff cuts at the agency is “not accurate.” She declined to elaborate further.

The appraisal division is a smaller part and you could lose 50% and not know they had left. Most opt to retire out at 55 and then go get other jobs or part time gigs.

VA should scrub its description of a "diverse" workforce.

I don't rent to Section 8. Since then I believe CA said can't discriminate based on where income came from.
