Risk of colon cancer slashed by eating specific types of vegetables, study finds

Chinese researchers analyzed 17 studies that included a total of 639,539 participants, 97,595 of whom were ultimately diagnosed with colon cancer. The studies were pulled from the PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science and Cochrane Library databases.

Based on the participants’ food questionnaires and cancer status, the study found that consuming cruciferous vegetables was linked to a reduced risk of colon cancer.

Stethoscopes powered by artificial intelligence (AI) could help detect three different heart conditions in seconds, researchers say.

The original stethoscope, invented in 1816, allows doctors to listen to the internal sounds of a patient's body.

But now a British team have designed one that can spot heart failure, heart valve disease and abnormal heart rhythms almost instantly.

To sell more broccoli beef....

I love broccoli.
I had tempura broccoli last night.

broccoli is a bit boring till ya toss it in a stir fry - that's where it's happiest. Just made a broccoli and beef stir fry last evening.

Swirl it in olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder on dem and toast in the air fryer. This works well with most vegiies, easy to do

My mom used to make tempura. The batter is the key
You're right. Something was off. That tempura's crunchy batter fried wasn't that good. Surprised that I'm a finicky eater.
But the Hamachi sushi was so good. And the sliced meat was thick.
I was in downtown Hollister and the street parking was weird.
There was a one way section on the main street where there was parallel parking.
Normally you drive your car straight on.
With these parking spaces, driver has to back up with rear to the sidewalk.
Never seen something like this.
With Tesla, easy to back up to parking space. Otherwise, I'm not used to parking backward.
