They're going to discontinue the Parcel layers - US demographics, US Parcel Data, US Daily Traffic Counts.

What is wrong with them?

maybe they are going to move it to something you can only get with a paid $$$$$ subscription?

Nope. Gone. They recommend sites such as data.gov... which is useless.

I've been using this for years http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/explorer/ - the desktop version is free and runs well on Windows 10. If a layer exists this will display it for you and it also displays online GIS map server information such as the FEMA flood map shapefiles that are continuously updated. You may have to search around the web and make some inquiries to your local municipality for the layers and shapefiles that you want but there is life after Google Earth Pro......

GE Pro was like a one stop shop for getting a lot of information fast. Not all my work is for Fannie/Lender type uses. This hurts.... well it stings a little.

I understand - it takes some time to set up and maintain the ARCGIS Explorer shapefiles with the latest information (and some of that information isn't free either). Much more convenient to have Google do all that, my condolences......

GE Pro never had parcels here. The traffic counts were all over ten years old. It is still an awesome program.

They didn't have parcel layers for most of my area. I use Arcmap 10. One county charges $10,000 for their parcel layer and another charges $20,000. I sure don't have those counties. ;-)
