A lender is asking me to fill out this form. I see where there is a checkbox for the architect but the lender drew a little checkbox and put appraiser: by it. I'm a country appraiser and don't do many condos. Can we actually sign off on these forms?

I'm thinking no but I ain't the brightest bulb out there. I've been doing this a long time but I'm kinda slow.

thanks

The lender uses this form to document that an architect or engineer has reviewed a new project and has certified that the project has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications (or that any incomplete items are minor and do not affect livability).

It looks like the lender wants you as the appraiser to sign off on the project as complete. I would not do it unless I was part of the project in the planning stage.

I would stay away from that form as an appraiser.
