Because that covering made all the difference in the value estimate! I bet it takes the reviewers 1 - 2 years to get up to speed on this.

I used to have a covered porch. Then I renovated and pushed an addition to make room for another bedroom (increase my home value).
I missed my covered porch which helped my front door from paint peeling from the sun and rain water coming into my front door. Oh well.
