FHA Appraisers now Certified Only

We have now removed the FHA designation in any licensed appraiser's listing at AppraiserUSA.com.

If any of you licensed appraisers become certified and are still approved to do FHA feel free to update your status.

As of 10/01/09 only Certified Appraisers may perform FHA appraisals, thus only Certified appraisers may check the FHA designation in their AppraiserUSA.com listing.

Seeing as how you do not have a listing at AppraiserUSA.com I guess you are 100% correct!

To sign up with AppraiserUSA.com go to http://appraiserusa.com and click on "appraiser listings" at the left of the screen. Then pick a user name and password and click the "register" button. Then fill out the form completely with your information and when done, click the "add" button at the bottom to save your information. Wait until you get the "thank you" page before proceeding to make sure your your listing is completed.

Listings are free and for licensed and state certified appraisers only. We do not allow trainee licenses, associate or registered licenses or their equivalent.

Well...that's going to be moot anyway. FHA has now adapted their own HVCC as of Jan 2010, so we will be losing the FHA orders from LOs, too.
