FHA Condo Question

I have a lender requiring me to take a photo of both sides of an attached condo. Does FHA require this for condominiums?

Thanks!

ahhh...how do you do that?

Get a dozer and doze the adjoining buildings I guess. Take a front and (hopefully) a rear and tell them to fly a kite. FHA cannot require the impossible. And doesn't.

When taking photos of an attached condo for an FHA appraisal, you should include clear pictures of the front and back exterior, a street scene showing the condo's location, and interior shots of key rooms like the kitchen, living area, bathrooms, and bedrooms, ensuring all aspects of the condo's condition are visible, including any shared common areas like hallways or laundry rooms.

If it's EOR, then it has three sides...

Just shoot a photo of the attached sides from the front and rear of the unit (so they can see its attached on both or one side) and move on.

Make sure you label them as side views of the building and not the actual unit. Prevents additional stupid requests down the road

Are they asking you after you did the photos, or before you go out. Whenever i do a row/attached home i take a front subject close up and one a little further back to show houses on each side of it.
Same goes with any condo unit. FHA likes to see the sides of a detached home and the comp photos also. Again, your photos should show the other house/unit attached to any side of your subject as a supplemental visual aid.
