Hi folks,
My first post here.
I sent out my application to FHA last week to get on the roster. Anyone have a rough estimate as to how long I should expect to get approval? And yes...I know I am dealing with the federal govenment!!

Thanks ahead of time.

Have you read the 4150.2 yet or takes the exam? Go to their web site (www.HUD.gov) and follow the instructions they give.

I have passed the exam and sent everything they need to the office in DC.

Ned it took about 7 to 10 days for me, just keep checking their website for your city/state that is where they will post it. They do not contact you directly.

They reveived my app on a Tuesday, by Wednesday afternoon I was listed on their website.... Now they did put my zip code in wrong, so I hope they don't try to mail anything till I remember to fax them a change request.

The only time you will be notified is if you were denied, otherwise it may take some time before it shows up on the roster. You can keep checking the site here:
